We are excited to present our second year of the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend Family Race and Kids Marathon. During our inaugural event in 2009, more than 100 families set fitness goals and participated in this event. For the 2010 event, every family that signs up to participate in the Family Race and Kids Marathon will be enrolled as a St. Jude Heroes team. So, while families help themselves by getting fit, they are also helping the families of St. Jude by raising money for the research and treatment of childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.

There is no fundraising minimum, but we ask families to go the extra mile for St. Jude. Each St. Jude Heroes family team can set a goal by using our St. Jude cost sheet, which shows examples of how your fundraising can help St. Jude provide lifesaving care to our patients. In return for your participation, each family will receive:

• Online resources with fundraising tips
• Support from St. Jude representatives
• E-newsletters with fundraising tips and St. Jude patient stories
